Why we're building Standard Blanks
A short letter from Nate and Erika about why wholesale blank apparel needs a new option, and what we hope to be.

We started Standard Blanks because we couldn't find the wholesale apparel storefront we wanted to buy from.
We're Nate and Erika. We're launching Standard Blanks together from the Pacific Northwest in June 2026. This is a short letter about what we're building and why.
The state of wholesale
Most wholesale blank apparel still operates the way it did in 2005. You browse a long catalog across multiple supplier sites, get half your inventory data from a stale PDF, fight with a quote form, and place the order over the phone.
It works. It's not bad. It's just slower than it needs to be, and it doesn't fit how anyone shops in 2026.
We started Standard Blanks because we wanted the experience to feel like the rest of the modern internet: a clean storefront, live inventory and pricing, one cart across warehouses, and a path to checkout that respects your time.
Who we are
We're a two-person team, on purpose. Nate has been building software for over twenty years and handles the storefront and the systems behind it. Erika runs operations and customer experience. We work on Standard Blanks from Camas, Washington.
We're not a big distributor with a long quote chain. We're not a venture-funded race-to-the-bottom marketplace. We're a small team that intends to stay small for a long time, with a modern stack and a tight feedback loop with the customers we serve.
What we're committing to on day one
A few things we want to be on record about from the start.
**One-piece minimums on every order.** Sample, prototype, or production run. Same catalog, same pricing transparency.
**1% of every sale to verified carbon removal.** Through Stripe Climate. Calculated on revenue, contributed monthly. Not on profit, not on a "rounded up" total. On every dollar.
**A modern shopping experience.** Live stock, tier pricing visible before you add to cart, one cart across our fulfillment partners' warehouses.
**Clear communication.** When something goes wrong (and it will), you'll hear from us, not from a ticket queue.
June 2026
We're heading into launch. If you've found us early, thank you for being here. We hope the storefront earns a place in your workflow.
